its a piggy back ecu that adjusts vtec cross over and fueling. doesnt do ignition timing though.

I loved how the gears were so tight you could stay in vtec shifting over 7k. But highway speeds at 4-4500rpms was no good for motor life either

​@@74nova36That's strange, a friend of mine has got a Prelude, about 5 years driving it like this 3 times a week when we race and the thing does not burn oil... He uses 5w40 amsoil and intervals are 3.5k.
