YES! My friends are buying VWs and even a q50 but my prelude is more fun. It has so much character and never ceases to catch the eyes of anyone and everyone who even remotely knows what it is. I feel like every 4th gen prelude has some kind of story to go with it also, we hear this one's story in the video while others we have to learn through the owners directly. mine lived the first half of it's life in new york, then sat in a field in iowa for 3 years before i bought it. Now it's on its way to becoming a monster that eats hellcats like a stoner eats doritos

I owned an AW11 I just sold, along with my 5th gen Prelude, while people loved the MR2, the Prelude still gets more attention everywhere I take it. People know about the MR2’s and remember them, the Preludes got forgotten and when you make people remember them they go nuts.

That would eliminate the advantages of the 4WS system. The whole point is that you can put more weight over the front tires for increased traction without some of the associated increase in moment of inertia, as the 4WS system moves the centre of rotation forward from where it normally is (the rear axle), thereby allowing FF acceleration and handling to no longer be at odds.

I'm slowly but surely restoring it, but it was already in good condition, to begin with. Little upgrades like interior LEDs, HIDs headlights, replacing headlights with fresh OEM ones, high-end touch screen radio, tints, added the SH stock spoiler, finally, I'll be painting it the whole thing including the side skirts & rear skirt to make it like SH, all to bring it into this century.

Guillermo Alvarez I had two h23 non vtecs in my 94. For 160 hp it’s much quicker than expected. I pulled more than one gsr the car was stock. Now it has a cam F20b swap.

I had a red 94 Si that I bought brand new w/rear spoiler, no 4WS. It was one of the smoothest shifting cars I have ever driven and for a FWD car it handled pretty decently. The dash went across the entire width of the car, the backseat was damn near non-existent, the sunroof (no moonroof option) opening was extra teeeny while the roof was sooo small the sunroof doubled as a roof spoiler. I kept a Sony Discman in the space under the radio w/a tapeplayer adapter but I couldn't change cds when I was in 1st, 3rd or 5th gear. I wanted to change it for a 6 speed Acura Legend Coupe but that shit was well out of my budget

I LOOOOOVED all of my Gen. 4's. I've had 6 of them. A couple were just parts rigs, but my first one had a base f22, but my first swap I ever did in my own was a Frankenstein H22.5 swap. My last one was a serious street beast with a built JDM H22a. Matte black paint and rims, 3" exhaust, 9400redline, JDM lips and spoiler and a serious Need 4 Speed. Never got caught in that thing, especially at night!

There’s a forth gem prelude that’s been sitting in the parking lot of a diner in Douglassville PA for years. I see it every night driving home from work. I want to ask around and possibly buy the car to restore it. It’s just I have no place to do that. My priority is my Civic sedan. I do all my work in the street, which I shouldn’t even be doing! I don’t think I could afford a storage unit to fit a car, parts, and tools every month. I know that when I own my own home I’ll have space to keep and work on these relics and bring them back to life!

I always like the Preludes. They seemed like they wanted to be more...everything, but still managed to be pretty cool and decently sporty. 4 wheel steering, good motors, Honda-ish reliability. I was sad to see 4 wheel steering go away, and the Prelude was sorta cool. And like our esteemed content provider, I too have calcium deposits on my thumbs from Grand Turismo and one of my favorite low budget racers was the trusty Prelude in which i learned to spear AI cars to help me apex corners. Prelude always took me to the dance.

I didn't play much of Gran Turismo 1, but I played a lot of Gran Turismo 2. My favorite car will always be the race-spec Mustang SVT Cobra.... Loved everything from the sounds to the way it handled.

i've got a fifth gen with the h22a4, and it is the most fun car I've ever driven. I wish it was manual though. Someday I will get the free time to swap an accord transmission

Friend had a 91 Prelude and damn that thing was sweet. Got me hooked on Hondas like an 80's frat boy on crack. Also damn that girls got some balls driving that thing across country. 👍😊😄

Those were amazing little cars! The example in your video was probably very worn out. I had one back in the day and it was a little road laser. Steering was so un-assisted that it would dump to the side when driving on a lateral angled road. Not the fastest car out there, but could handle like god and very forgiving. It is no 944, but the confidence and laser accuracy handling were close. Looks like someone did something stupid with the suspension on the example you drove because I recall them about half an inch or more lower to the ground. The factory seats and seating position were also excellent; you sat very low which added to the enhanced feedback of the car. Find a better example and the body styling still looks good today (unlike Ford Probes or Celicas from the same era).
