does the width of the drill make a difference? or the amount of drops you have ?

Why is 150 feet used? How do you get that number?

The distance was sort of arbitrary. On the John Deer drill that I normally calibrate, it is approximately 20 rotations of the drive wheel. Having said this, the TABLE that is used to determine the amount of seed to catch is based on 150 ft. So if you are using the table instead of doing you own calculations, then you MUST use the 150 ft distance. Chris
