Yeah me too :D I immediately played Tremere first, since I love to use magic and so on in games, and the malkavian was exceptional and gave the feeling to discover a whole new game because of your madness (which is quite strong since you're from the 8th generation by the way ^^) Nosferatu was amazing too :) I even played as a Ventrue after that, using weapons xD

I felt so bad for the thin bloods. All the weaknesses of a vampire but none of the benefits. Even Ghouls get a better deal than that. At least they get to keep their humanity. The thin bloods are barely vampire and barely human. That's gotta make you feel. like a freak even amongst a world of other freaks and monsters.

Mike Linners As they say: "any time someone mentions it - someone reinstalls it". I have the warmest memories about this game (similar to "Deus Ex", "NeverwinterNights 2", "The Witcher" and "Anachronox"). It is a well crafted piece of entertainment. And the score was fantastic, which is very important for any game with an atmosphere.

@@bennyharvey6710 If I remember correctly, the game still had one more year of development planned. But Activision suddenly decided that the game should be released, and it took Troika by surprise. That is why the game came out very buggy when it came out and quite a bit content had to be cut.

@@aaronzaloum7986 Yeah, there was a whole new other level/area, which got cut off entirely. There is even music to that area, but we will never know what it would have been. And also the ending was rushed as well, from what I remember, not saying it felt rushed (it did) but they admitted it was rushed due to that. And who knows what else was planned and got cut off, or had to be changed/improvised due to that whole year of development being cut. It is a miracle that the game was as good as it was, considering how dirty they were played. And now Brian Mitsoda got played dirty again by higher ups... hope Bloodlines 2 turns out great. But things aren't looking good.

The ground floor of the hotel felt empty to me, too- guess they may have planned something and never got around to implementing it. It's a great feeding ground, though, especially for Ventrue who can't snack on rats in the sewers.

Wow, yesterday, when I started a new character, I went down to the beach(for the first time with that character), and stopped by the fire to listen to the music.I noticed a giant wolf on the cliffs, in the direction of the stairs, which lead up to the pier(not the ocean house where you have to get the astrolite).:) When I tried to apparoach it, he ran away.He was the murderer..:) Perfect game...

Last night I had this play for me when I left the Ocean House Hotel, and it was really weird. Kinda gave me goosebumps, like I had finally put the ghost to rest and this was the end credits theme on its life. For the ghost, this was a notable night. For me, it was just errands I had to run before returning to a stinky sewer.

@TyraelWolf WoD online, also refered to as VtM Online will be played in much the style of Eve Online, being influenced largely by the players. The game will focus on player politics so expect a lot of trolls to try to trash it, but for the most part I expect great things from it. Eve Online was a moderate success in spite of it's attempts at a game type that's never been done before. In WoD they will try again after learning from their mistakes.

Unfortunately the game was released when there was still work to be done on it, and much like Oblivion from Bethesda it could have stood to have a larger population than you actually see...but given the processing limitations of the time, having even that many uninteractive NPCs was beyond expectations...maybe.
