I've watched this several times throughout the years and it never ceases to amaze me. The power that modern hydraulics systems can generate are staggering. The forces along the cutting adges and mating surfaces are just incredible. That went through those rams like a grown man tearing a piece of cardboard. That is mind blowing power.

Simply too sad to finish watching. You see it all the time, either the owner thought it was worth 20K and when nobody would pay what he thought it was worth he scrapped it for 2K. Or, it was the pride and joy of some old timer and when he died his family just scrapped it without even trying to sell it. Hate to see perfectly salvageable old iron cut up and made into crappy chinese junk. That machine looked pretty damn good at the beginning, far better than most of my projects start out.

Give it another 5 years, we won't be wasting these machines like that. Although it definitely needs a lot of work, and that's expensive also... it's not when you learn how to do it yourself. Yes, at first it's about the same cost... *yet, as soon as I learned to replace each part, I never had to learn that again. Once all parts that could possibly be replaced or refurbished like the bucket rewelded, engine rebuild, hydraulic lines, pump and piston replaced. I invested in myself and saved a lot more money.* Plus I started repairing them for other businesses and have a new business. 😎🇺🇸

Not sure bro but you look military...🤔. Take it from an old Marine Corps Gunny...I am a DOW-ist....not Taoist...DOW is Die or Win. One is guaranteed...the other isnt so you have nothing to lose by going after being the greatest thing you can be. What I have noticed in many of my brothers is they lose their purpose. I dont push motivation....faith is the key. Motivation is afraid of the dark....faith is a torch. If you strip a man of purpose he will clothe himself in chaos. I went through so many ups and downs when I got out but I kept pressing until I found a way to contribute again. Learn a new skill the world needs and getting up in the morning will be much easier. All love from an old crusty Marine. Stay whole and healthy bro.

The shovel of the bulldozer should have been boronized steel, at least the egde. You see the huge shear cut through the back of the shovel but the edge broke abruptly. Looks like the operator knows what he's doing. But other people in that plant not so much apparently. The tank wasn't even emptied (thing he ripped out in the end, I guess was the hydraulic oil tank).

Still use an old international TD14 on our ranch. Never had much issues with it, even after sitting in a field for a year. Old technology now, but it works. For all those saying how sad this is, it ended up there for a reason. Are you still driving the car you drove in high school? Where do you think it is by now? From a business standpoint, you don't dump a bunch of money into equipment because of your feelings. Great way to go broke surrounded by a hoard of junk. You cut your losses and move on and buy something that can make you even more money.
