Seriously. Its something that I usually want to jump in VTOL nowadays instead of DCS. Especially now with this update, its even better. I mean, this game actually simulates RCS and IR missile spoofing better than DCS lmao

I just got the game 2days ago. It is really good and here is some suggestions 1. a different Faction and jets for it. 2. A stealth A-10 variant. 3. A option for rounds including Tracer, Air targets, Ground Targets, Stealth, Armor Piercing, High Explosive, And more. This is all I could really think of. So… who knows.

I think VTOL VR is the best flight simulator for VR at the moment. Keep up the excellent work. When anyone that I know get a new VR setup, I always point them to VOTL VR first. I do have a few questions about this video. Do all of the players in multiplayer see the same cloud formations? Do the clouds obstruct the laser designators and effect heat seeker missiles? Is there a new camera mode that allows you to use the camera modes like in this video?

Yes, clouds are synced in multiplayer. Yes clouds do interfere with optical and IR tracking. There is a spectator mode that can be used to follow other players in external camera from within the headset. There is also the spectator camera that can be set up to display an external view on your second display.

You know Baha, for being a game that started out with JUST the AV-24C, hence the name VTOL VR, you've built one hell of a VR combat flight sim. I used to main DCS World, but this has given me so much more as of late. I don't have to set up all my peripherals (which has been harder now that my computer is in the living room, it runs like butter compared to DCS in VR, and I can even get my kids into it, as all they need to understand is how to use the VR controllers to start fiddling with switches and buttons. Add to that, an electronic warfare system that DCS can't really implement because those systems are classified, and it's just amazing. Now we've got weather, buddy lasing/JTAC systems (which I've messed around with in the PTC for a little while now, and love), more in depth radio comms, etc. You are a king. We love you

Still holding out futile hope that HOTAS will one day be enabled (it's difficult to move enough physical space around me to casually start this up), but clouds are lovely. 'DCS' could learn so much from this product, in terms of accessibility.

This. The *only* thing holding this game back at this point is HOTAS support. I get the argument for immersion and I could live without having a button mapping for everything in the cockpit. Hand controllers make sense for flipping switches. But just like rudder-pedals are hard to replace with hand controls, an imaginary floating collective and stick is just not as good as using a real one (if you have the peripherals). Would play so much more of this game if I could map more axes and a few on-grip buttons.

@@robobobor Very much so. Honestly cant' think of anything which NEEDS a VR translation. You could effectively make everything HOTAS-relevant as at least an option for those of us who want to map our cockpits out that way. It would genuinely make me play it a lot more. I also know of someone with VR equipment who was using it, but 'VTOL VR' doesn't allow their controller an option to use countermeasures, for some reason, meaning they can't do anything but formation flying in it. If mapable HOTAS was allowed, that would have solved it.

@@andytean5906 It IS a really good game, but... Yeah. That hurts it. I can't just put it on and play it, I have to push stuff out of the way from my desk. It just isn't convenient. And ou just don't get the feedback from wafting the contollers in the air, which you do with a flightstick and throttle in hands.
