As an ot8, there is a noticeable difference between having a bias(favorite) and just liking all the members, and not being able to pick a bias. being ot8 biased pretty much means they are all equal and you can't choose a favorite, so all members are biases. Not everyone can like one member more than the rest because they all have unique personalities and it wouldn't be easy to choose. Hope that made sense 🙏

Many kpop grps have lore, but no one take it as seriously as Ateez. Their lore is so well written and intricated that even non-Atinys know Ateez are Pirates & have some sort of lore. I haven't seen anyone else doing promos like that by connecting it with lore.

58:53 tattoos used to heavily get looked down upon but the younger generation is getting to be ok with it. Still older people aren’t usually in love with the idea. And for idols actually a lot of them have tattoos like Han from stray kids and jungkook from bts etc… Korean tv channels usually try and hide them for any broadcasting times.

A lot of kpop groups have lore but Ateez really elevates it to another level by including it in everything and I truly mean everything! They revealed their Guerrilla comeback using guerrilla marketing (it's an actual advertising strat) and during that time it really felt like you're experiencing the lore in real life, like we found out about the comeback from an airdropped QR code. For Ice on My Teeth, we got hired in a strange mansion. Truly have no idea if we survived the job..

An easy way to explain kpop generations would be to imagine it like our generations. You know how there are like Millenials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha? In Kpop, whenever there is a new wave of new groups releasing music, it's like the start of a new Kpop generation. So Ateez and Stray Kids are part of the 4th Generation of Kpop.

I've always been able to pick a bias or bias line in every K-pop group I like. Ateez is the first where I literally can't and after 4 years I'm still ot8. BTS and Ateez are my ults. Their discography is one of my faves too.

Actually ateez do have representative animals called aniteez: Hongjoong is a squirrel 🐿️ Seonghwa is a pink rabbit 🐇 but is something referred to with a ⭐ emoji Yunho is a golden retriever Yeosang is either a maltese or an albino doberman but is sometimes referred to with the 👑 emoji San is a purple cat but is sometimes referred to with the ⛰️ emoji Mingi is a 🐥 but is sometimes referred to with the 🐺 emoji Wooyoung is a 🐈‍⬛ but is sometimes referred to with the 🦊 emoji And finally Jongho is a 🐻

Okay, let's get a recap for Captain to remember it all :) 🎉Congrats to 10 Thousand Troublemakers!🎉 Ateez is an 8 member boy groups under KQ entertainment. Ateez derives form the words "anything Teenagers, A to Z" and Atiny comes from "Ateez Destiny". Main concept is pushing past hardships, youth and self discovery. Opening line: 8 makes 1 team. [Side note: The big four companies are the most powerful, largest and most popular in all of Korea, consisting of SM Entertainment (NCT, Aespa, EXO), BigHit- Now called Hybe Labels (BTS, TXT, Enhypen), JYP Entertainment (Twice, Stray kids) and YG Entertainment (Blackpink, Baby monster)] Before debut they were known as KQ Fellaz and went viral for their dances. They were highly praised as trainees (pre-debut idols). Albums are made up of two kinds of songs; title tracks and B-sides. Title tracks are the most popular songs on albums, usually the one with a music video and the highlight of every album. These songs go in for music shows and usually go viral for their live performances, also mostly where all the SICK outfits come from. B-sides are all other songs on the album, usually ballads, experimental songs, solo songs and songs that connect with fans. (This crosses over to other groups as well.) Ot8 hating is Crazyyy 😂 If you’re a fan of music and bands you should love all of them but you definitely don’t need to pick a favorite. I’m here for music and their all too cool and precious to just dote on one member. They are a team and a team should be appreciated equally. I like some groups and always have a bias but this is the ONLY group where I cannot pick one sole favorite, they are all too talented and interesting to just pour my energy into one member. Ateez is top tier.

just a quick note I guess ... BBTrippin name: “BLOCK B was a hot topic in Korea but the name was made by chance. Because of an interview we had to quickly make a name so BB, short for Block B, was put in front. The original team name was just TRIPPIN.” from an interview with BBTrippin leader Block B is an older kpop group that used the pirate concept for one of their comebacks before Ateez, Block B were under Seven Season which was KQ before. Its still a sub-label under KQ.
