In relation to sans voice: San has said that he has damaged his throat after having covid 3 times (could be wrong on the number of times) so he has had to change the way he sings their older songs as he is unable to sing them in the way he did originally. Thats why he sounds more comfortable singing some of the newer tracks, because they were made after he damaged his throat, so they were made to fit what he can do. His excitement to be performing on killing voice doesn't help lol

Pretty sure he said that he damaged his throat and spit out blood around after wonderland, and that was when his vocal range started to change

I don’t think it was from Covid, I think he said that he damaged his vocal cords from years of strenuous singing in an incorrect technique or something like that. Now he’s been working to change it and sing more comfortably and safely, but as a result of the damage done he can’t sing the old stuff the way he used to

Jongho deserves all the praise, he’s phenomenal! I also appreciate that he complimented San’s vocals at some parts, and Yunho’s as well - I agree, he is capable of so much more vocally, and after hearing his cover of “Even if it’s your happiness,” I’m even more convinced, ugh. And I am also a big fan of Wooyoung‘s tone of voice even though it is more specific and can be less versatile for all songs because of it

So I just saw ATEEZ live last week in Georgia…. They really sound like that in REAL LIFE!!! It made me so proud as an ATINY. I won’t even get into how good they looked irl. 50/10 concert experience

Jongho’s voice would have probably been well suited to opera if he had decided to pivot into classical. He has great support and placement.

Mingi was super sick here and his throat hurt really bad which is why he needed so many bottles of water. He was put on vocal rest for a whole week right after this. San was under the weather too as he and Mingi are flatmates and he probably caught the same thing Mingi had, though he was not as sick (Mingi went on live with almost no voice, he sounded miserable and in pain while San was okay overall). In the past San also damaged his vocal cords due to singing too high (even causing bleeding) + having Covid several times, so he's had to switch singing style as you'll notice in their latest album where he uses lower tones. Apparently Mingi wrecked lots of people with this which is ironic considering he was sure people were going to be disappointed by his performance ❤ He's super harsh on himself and despite not being a vocalist and most Ateez songs being out of his range, he always gives 100% Also, he and Yunho have been best friends since the last year of middle school... Yunho will always be by his side to hold his hand ❤😊 (Sorry for any mistakes, English is not my native language)

12:45 Mingi was the one sick in this shooting but I just figured it was all of sans excitement. Even in the behind-the-scenes, you can FEEL his energy bouncing off the walls. He was really trying to contain himself lol but I can totally hear what you are talking about. Even for the songs where the gritty sound is necessary, he definitely put more than usual. I could be mistaken and they could both be feeling under the weather

I believe San was recovering from an illness as well, but I think Mingi had to have a vocal break to help his recovery.

I totally enjoyed this reaction. I too think it’s hard to categorize their actual style-especially because they seem to add their own twist. If you can I totally suggest you try your see their towards the light concert when they do their European leg (think it’s early 2025). I have never seen a show like this one. It’s like what you would get if musical theatre and a concert had a baby.

12:38 san had gotten covid a few times (like 2 or 3?) and so it's a bit more difficult for him to sing like he used to in their older songs. despite that he still is such an amazing singer!

Bruh , every singer get criticized, San technique is not perfect so it's okay, even if he sounds good he'll get criticized especially technically , even jongho took singing lessons to improve

I like your videos a lot, and I watch them a lot, but somehow i feel like there is not much reaction apart the face expressions and comments like "alrgiht, alright, ok" and all comments about Jongho and 1 from San. But the rest is like... nope. For me I would have appreciated more if he spoke a lot more his minds, because after finishing this video I sill don't know what his opinion is overall nor from most members.
