And lastly, you should watch Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail. It's basically a road map of what is to come in the next few years for the game.

Nahida is actually Greater Lord Rukkhadevata (Primer God of Wisdom), Sumeru (Her Nation) was once a desert and alot of people was suffering from forbidden knowledge that King Deshret (King of the Desert) has sent them. So she decided to exhaust her Strength and sacrifice her body to save her Nation. And that day, a new God was born they call them "Lesser Lord Kusanali" (Nahida). They had a new Festival called "Subzerus Festival" wich was supposed to celebrate the born of the new God but the death of the Greater Lord. The Akademiya people (Sages) wasnt happy about the new God, they decided to isolate her (Nahida) in the "Sanctuary of Surasthana" for 500 years, so Nahida is basically in prison the day she was born (her birthday) (SPOILERS IF YOU DINT PLAY IT YET) After the Traveler saved Nahida from the Sages, Nahida said. "I have a long step of becoming a real Archon (God) so in order of becoming the "Real Archon" she has to erase Rukkhadevata from her and all the peoples memories. She goes to Irminsul tree and erases Rukkhadevata from everyones memories so now everyone's minds including the gods forget about Rukkhadevata. And yah done 👍✨ Pls read this i took an hour to make this aaaaaaah! And about her going from the forest to the desert, your correct she is dreaming. While shes in the Sanctuary of Surasthana, she learns the world outside by dreaming, like flying flowers and things that doesn't make sense. All those things teaches Nahida that the outside world is different than the dream world that she is dreaming about .
