For real though, gay teenagers sometimes don't realise they are gay until very later years. Meanwhile other people who is close to them already pick up a sign that they are gay. It's quite funny that i know some who realise they are gay, and revealed to their friends (including me), and their friends was like "yeah we already expect for a while from watching your body language/voice/appearance."

Yup, one of my teachers told us a story about her daughter's coming out (I don't know why we were talking about coming out stories in class (most of the people in that class are LGBTQ+)) and she said that she knew her daughter was gay since like primary school. So yeah if parents are knowledgeable enough about this they know quite early on that their child is LGBTQ+

I remember when my best friend came out to me as bi, I already knew he was for a long time but I never said anything cuz I wanted to wait till he felt confortable. We were drinking and playing Skullgirls on my house, and all of a suden almost completely out of the blue he told me he had something to tell me that he hadn't tell anyone, and then he told me he was bisexual. I gave him a hug and told him I had the feeling but I'm glad he trfelt the confidence to tell me. He froze and told me he was expecting me to freak out so that he could play it as a joke lmao It took him about 2 or 3 years (can't really remember) to come out to his parents and our other friends, but almost everyone was really supportive ❤

My coming out was... not the best. Essentially, I wrote a letter to my friends just in case my parents decided to make me transfer schools (cause I was actually planning at the end of the school year to come out and was afraid cause super religious, and anti-LGBT), my parents found the said letter. They then started to ask me questions and essentially guilt trip me to an extent. Thus triggering me to have an anxiety attack. My mom actually apologized to me a few years later though (better late than never) and is supportive, and my dad doesn't even recall my anxiety attack and is still very vocal about being against it.

Actually my older brother came out to me a couple days ago. I kinda knew about it before (more like I had my suspicions) but I had no idea on how to ask him. So we were randomly playing and he suddenly stopped and told me "I thought you may had figured out already but .....
