@JAFrk2 ай бұрын
Japanese of the day “腰撃ち/こしうち/koshi-u-chi" Literally translates to Hip-Shot or "to shoot from the hip" Which is used for "no scope" in Japanese.
@venkaramon2 ай бұрын
I think a better term is hip fire. At least that's the term more recognized in English instead of hip shot if we were to translate it and yeah if it was no scope they would just say no-sco
@JAFrk2 ай бұрын
@@venkaramon O yea for sure that works too, in english hipfire certainly is more common than hip shot. I was going at it from a literal translation and picked "to shoot" because it doesn't have other possible meanings.

Thr worst part is that even though she did the right thing there, because of kraber + emp, she cant even trade damage Honestly hanabusa and tsumugi was slow to react to a push, had both of them climbed up with hinano, they probably would have forced astel team off the zip line regardless of emp. On the contrary, if both of her teammates are not looking at a powered zip, hinano and the team is better off keeping her room instead of trying to contest the roof alone sknce the surrounding party would sooner or later force astel down from the roof and hinano's team has solid defense capabilities

Kraber hits her waist but not her head, dealing 150 damage. Kraber deals up to 140 damage from hitting head.
@yomi90042 ай бұрын
@@1UwU3 so with this weapon you get more damages from hitting the body than the head, and that’s she was angry because of that?
@1UwU32 ай бұрын
@@yomi9004 yaeh Additionally, the Kraber is not suitable for close-range shooting because it only fires once and takes a long time to reload. If you carry a kraber and don't kill the enemy in one shot, you have a greater chance of being shot dead by enemies.
@hydraulicpress4392 ай бұрын
Isnt kraber dealt 210 dmg on headshot? she's mad cuz kraber is hard & risky on hipfire + close range but she got hit by it
Wouldnt しようもない be more "couldnt do anything" than boring if you localized it. I think most players would say stuff like that when they get cheese killed.
@tigeryo89432 ай бұрын
Not really. しょうもないusually means something like “that’s just dumb” or “there’s no point”, and in this case Hinano is just really salty😂 So whereas “couldn’t do anything” is more acknowledging the opponent’s skill (kind of), “boring” or “this is no fun” you can taste the salt more
@damester132 ай бұрын
That's しょうがない. Idk how to explain the difference well but using も instead of が there adds the nuance of more emotions felt by the speaker rather than just being a declarative statement describing the helpless situation. It's kinda like how different "I couldn't do anything about it" is with "I couldn't EVEN do anything about it." in English, I guess? That's why しょうもない becomes a negative reaction (or even just pure badmouthing like boring/stupid) while しょうがない is more of a consoling one.
@Nusutto2 ай бұрын
@@tigeryo8943 i dont understand the point youre trying to make. To me it looks like your taking two statments that basically mean the same thing and saying their different. Btw noone ever says "couldnt do anything" to acknowledge the opponent and more so "this game is dumb because i died in a cheesy manner and couldnt do anything about it". Its commonly used by people being salty
@Nusutto2 ай бұрын
@@damester13 i know what it means im just saying to localize it it feels more accurate to use "couldnt do anything" than boring. I dont think you understand the use of "couldnt do anything" in gaming. Its just the feeling of being helpless when getting cheesed hard in a game which is why i think its a better. Its just a way to whine in gaming when you die like that
@tigeryo89432 ай бұрын
@@Nusutto didnt know that, thanks for clarifying. But idk, when you say like "I couldn't do anything" to me it kinda feels like youre acknowledging either your opponent's skill or your lack of skill - like "the problem is with myself", where as the meaning here is more like "the game is the problem/ the game is so stupid". If the latter is what you mean by "I couldnt do anything" then yea, your translation would be more correct. and on second thought, I do agree that "its boring" is more of a direct translation of しょうもないand doesnt really encapsulate Hinano's salty nuances behind it
