Reset the footwell module and the lights will come on. It has a max count on shorts before it shuts off the circuit to protect the car. Look up reset footwell module short counter on the forums. Stay away from the stealership they will replace the footwell module and charge you an arm and a leg

21:30 crazy, I remember in my day it was 1 screw to remove a headlight. It loosened off the chrome ring, pulled the sealed beam out, unplugged it, plugged a new one in, and 1 screw and you're done. $6.95 at the auto parts store.

Ben, the modules are usually coded “to the car”. Whenever you change the light modules, it needs some coding so that the car can recognize it as its own

Hi, little help with your headlights you should reset the FRM module . Usually FRM tries to power up like 2 3 times. If if any of the bulbs doesn’t work as it should it cuts permanent to the power supply, after that you must reset it, but with a proper diagnosis tool.

That’s what I had to do with a Mini that I rebuilt. I sent it off to a guy on eBay and he reprogrammed it for a low price.

I had the same angel eye issue on my son's e90. I did the same troubleshooting steps with no luck. I finally used Carly and reset the FRM module codes. After doing this, it started working and has been working every since. (over a year now)

Ben your FRM module on the BMW blocked the chanel for drl power to the left side from a short or error , in our country we use ISTA+ program to unblock the chanel . Hope it's of use . Salut.!

Angle eys: You have to reset the short Circut counter in the FRM Modul .Only possible with tool32 Inpa dcan. Otherweise by a new Modul + Coding

🌴hey Ben, the tremor is almost there , the headlight one the beemer is a bummer ! Time to breakout the multi meter and find out where the short is at , is it the switch? A bad connection? What about the led’s themselves? Run power to the led’s to see if they light up🤔 , 👊🏼👍🏼

it’s probably the floor controller if a bulb has been out for a long time the floor controller shuts that bulb down and you need the counter resetting

BMW HEADLIGHT *** HEY CHANGE THE BALLAST THAT SILVER MODULE YOI HAD IM THE PACKAGE IF YOI DIDNT CHANGE IT MOST TIME IF ANYTHING WATER RELATED OR SOMETHING BLOWS BEST TO CHANGE IT OUT MY My S550 Mustang uses the hid ballast setup as well change it out and see if the lights come on because the ballast powers the hid light not any of the other lights
