As rare as our eye condition is I’m so glad that there are other people just like me out there.

Yes!! You should become a hat lady. Hats are so fun. 👒🧢 Thanks for sharing. That's awesome there are so many features on your phone and laptop to help make things easier for you. I didn't know they could do all those things.

Well for me since I visually impaired from glaucoma and the other eye conditions I have in my eyes, I use the computer magnifier on my laptop, my portable CCTV , my cane to get around, my Victor reader stream to recording College so I don't have to strain my eyes and large print lined paper. I am also learning Braille just in case my vision deteriorates

Thanks for sharing your aids. This is super interesting to hear what you use. They all sound super helpful. I am very interested in a CCTV. I have heard about them but have never used one they seem like a game changer. I might have to look more into it. Where did you get yours? Any tips for looking at them?

Hi, just to let you know sporadic Aniridia actually means you are the first in your family to have Aniridia. Each person with sporadic and hereditary Aniridia can have a completely different amount of iris. For example I have sporadic Aniridia but have no irises at all. I hope you enjoyed Aniridia day.

Thank you for the clarification! I appreciate it! That is not what I was taught but that makes a lot more sense. I will be doing a little more research to make sure I understand these terms correctly. It is nice to learn more about this as I go.

How do you get to the magnifier on your phone?
@VIDesigner4 жыл бұрын
If you go into settings and then accessibility. On an iPhone, find the magnifier and make sure it is on. Then whenever you want to access it You can triple tap the home button and then you can tap you want to turn the magnifier on. I hope that helps.

Finally someone i can relate to!! I also have aniridia (+other vision problems) and currently going to a design school. Honestly i’ve been struggling and having second thoughts about design as my eyes has gotten worse. But thanks, your videos has given me strength and encouragement. I hope in the future i can also be a designer and aniridia can get more awareness. Ps: sorry for my bad english❤️
