Great minds think alike! I was looking for a way to make a camera do a quick release to/from a Cineback setup, you're the only one I found documenting a way to do it. I wanted to get an R5c with the Cineback setup, but because I do both photo and video, I know it would be a pain to de-rig the camera anytime I'd like to do photos. Ideally, I wish there was a way to utilize the built in arca mount in a lot of these cages to slide in the camera from the side vs the front of the cineback housing.

I bought the cineback after seeing your post on FB. Absolutely love it - I shoot alot more handheld at my weddings now. Looks dope, but it also hides all my cables and cleans things up so nicely. Can't recommend this enough,

DOPE Video Vu!!! This is why I bought Cineback and not any other version that came out after.. He was the first one to design it and put a lot of work and hours in research, parts, testing to make sure it was an absolute of a monster product for the FX3. Now that I saw your video it made me think how can I also make mines a quick release although one of my FX3 lives faithfully inside Cineback but a quick release system is great to have.

I’ve been meaning to purchase one but neither his or rigidpro’s cine rigs. Support the falcam quick release cage for the fx30. I really don’t want to purchase another cage and system such as the “Smallrig hawklock” system. Just to use the cinebak or rigidpro cine base. Rigidpro actually supports the the new “Smallrig hawlock” cage though.

Why not just get a Arca swiss that directly connect to the arca swiss designed into the bottom of the cage of the camera, without the additional plate would lessen the amount of stuff needed?

For my last wedding I pulled the trigger on a second body. A7IV is rigged and FX30 with 11mm f1.8 lives on a gimbal. Problem solved 😁
