You should mention that specific improvements have been made over older iterations. It would really ease some concerns with the brightness, for example. I see that they have added locking turrets, which is definitely an improvement.

@dubb5508 Everyone I have talked with and everything I've found is that it is not fixed. If the brightness is a true concern for you, a Vortex Razor is most likely your next best choice for that price range.

I find it interesting your insistence that this is 'daylight bright' even in direct sunlight. Both EOTECH marketing and email responses in the past have said it is 'daylight visible' as apposed to bright in regards to the 1-6. Was there improvements made to recently manufactured 1-6 scopes that supports this change in wording? I only ask because I have been using the 1-6 for a couple years now, and while it is still my preferred LPVO, the illumination get lost very quickly on sunny days.

​@@eotechinc It's definitely something that would be helpful on the 1-10x. Being able to adjust parallax means you can resolve a lot of optical issues on both the 1x and 10x. If you want to shoot out to distance to 800 yards, a 10x fixed at 200 yards parallax will come up blurry.

I really like my 1-6 SR3. I decided to go with that reticle because I’m very comfortable with the HWS system. My only complaint is that the doughnut of death on the Vudu at 1X doesn’t have the same holds as the 68 moa ring. Meaning the bottom of the circle isn’t 7 yard hold like the HWS. Also the ranging is different than the standard HWS ring. I went that route because I had memorized all my holds with my HWS ring for range and holds. I’m guessing they couldn’t make the 6X ranging work for both and the 6X BDC is more important to most shooters. Wish somehow they could have made both work.

The more I see vudu vids, the more I wish 18 year old me knew about amozon at the time. I had no idea I could get such a optic and was extremly limited when I though going to a gun show would be a better idea. Ended up giving my acog not because it was bad but because it didnt have much versitality. Yeah there was the rmr option but I ended up having to deal with complex stuff at that point. That and the rmr was dual illuminated. Cant wait till I can have play money again. But thatll be like a year in the future.

It shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as it is an etched reticle that is illuminated. Not just a dot on glass.
