Thanks for the review Chris. I just got my pair 2 days ago and am EXTREMELY disappointed. I had the same experience as you. I can barely hear music at full volume and the noise bleed is terrible. The intent was to be stealthy and these are completely useless for that. I am happy that a KickStarter pledge actually produced a product - but this product did not live up to the hype. If they were purchased at a retail store, I'd return them ASAP.

That's because it is not bone conduction, it is just 2 small speakers under it. Just open it up and you will see 2 mini speakers...

I feel kind of disappointed because I thought the sound will hear a little bit louder. I don't know if it's the size of my head but after a few minutes the Bone conduction pieces start to feeling uncomfortable. Great video Chris!

Pretty accurate on the rating. Over all...meh.. Probably would have edged more towards 5/10 rating. It works. You have to be in a pretty quiet room to hear it well. Overall a neat gimmick in a spare pair of glasses.

I agree with you on pretty much all points but I really would've love to have heard your opinions on the app that you're REQUIRED to download to set them up. It's nigh on unusable for me, as any buttons in the top right are partially blocked off by my S10's camera. I can't seem to find a way to upload activity data during the day, so I can't see the hourly breakdown of activity, and I can't get to my activity history because of the button problem. Cheers for the review though!

I have a pair of these as well, do you know if standard frames (without the tech) can be bought to reuse the lenses (to make a normal pair of glasses)? Not all that happy with the product and my wide head makes them very uncomfortable.

You have to change the volume with your phone.

@@ChrisXia No you don't. The glasses have a separate volume control. You have the normal media/call volume then the glasses has their own. Changing the volume on the glasses does not change the phone media/call volume. I believe this is a common misconception and a reason why some say they can't hear anything

I also took a look at Vue's support website and this is what they said: "Note: This does not adjust the volume for the audio you stream from your phone. I've heard others say the same thing about the volume, but it's always been very vague. When you say outdoor use, do you mean in a high traffic area or would it still be difficult to hear over say a television or general workplace scenario?

So general workplace scenario (I work in a corporate finance setting, the vue glasses work fine but you have to have at 3/4 or max volume to be able to hear it well. Outdoor use is not recommended at all. Can't hear a thing.

I received my pair yesterday and I feel the same kind of disappointment... I don't feel like it was worth the money nor the years waiting. If you put the tip of the frame in your ear you can ear the sound nice and clear, that's not what I think bone conduction is. The sides are really thick, if you wear it like regular glasses my ears bend and I look like dumb. It is also very square with a sharp edge, it hurts my ears after a short time. Well I should complain to Vue, but I just wanted to emphasize your impression.

Just received mine today and actually fully agree with the review and your comments here. I would call the sound quality just worse one, it’s way too quite. I agree in loud places it’s the wrong device, but it’s hardly possible to listen to a call while driving. 10-20% more volume while keeping quality would make this product much better. Also as you mentioned the arms are too thick at the end and also bending my ears, that looks strange. :D I thought it will be cool but actually it feels like early prototype. Hope Apple will deliver better ones.

Lasted a full day of use and I still had a bit more than half left. My estimate is probably around 18 hours of continuous use. What's nice is that the glasses case doubles as a charging case too.

i got mine and honestly i am very disappointed! the bass quality on this thing is bad. put it on max volume, its still so low. defect with the charging case as well. so far, the worst purchase ever
