What type of web cam would maximize my star rating. I used a depstech 4K webcam which game me a 1 star rating I also used a j5 create which gave me a 3 star rating. I’m tracking a book only with letters and pages.

I’m building an AR comic book for my thesis where certain pages are being used as the target markers to trigger the projection of 3D models (some include interactions), but I’ve been having some issues with the app not working/accessing my iPads camera after the initial test. Is there a forum I can visit for troubleshooting vuforia/unity issues specifically? Also, I’m about to finish up my 2D roughs for the comic and am going to spend the summer trying to get a working prototype of the whole comic for my committee to review, but I’m not sure the most effective way to set it up. Right now I’ve only really tried having one target marker/page in a scene within unity but there are going to be multiple pages with AR components/interactions... how do I best ensure the app is able to recognize each individual page/target marker? Do all the pages need to be set up within one scene? Or do I create an individual scenes for each page in unity and just use the same key each time I set up the AR camera in the scene? Sorry if I’m asking dumb questions or asking a lot of a stranger. I’m a digital artist and not very technical oriented/lack experience with game engines in general and there isn’t a faculty member on staff that is familiar with AR. It’s cool to see they have an in-engine option now as my first demo for proof of concept required me to do the initial route and it felt kind of cumbersome so I’ve put off really diving into vuforia to figure out the other AR interactions until now. I’m glad there’s someone doing some tutorials for it now! It’s tremendously helpful so thank you!

Hello!! great tutorial. I am working on a AR app for Hololens devices using Unity Engine and Vuforia. It works fine but i have some problems that i couldn't solve. I placed my 3d objects as child of the Image target and on the location that i want to see them. When i test the app in unity play mode all looks fine but with hololens the positions are different. for example i want some of the to be exactly on the image (as buttons) but they are some cm above. Could anyone tell me what i am doing wrong and could suggest any documentation or tutorial to see how to fix it?

For me it worked by adding package from git url (choosing the latest version). The download from the vuforia site simply didn't work.

maybe you are using the lastest version in unity because it doesn't work with vuforia try to use the unity version 2019 or 2018

Thank you, nice tutorial. I've followed step-by-step tutorial but when I use the app on my Android device then camera is black screen. What is the problem? I use Unity 2020.3.12, Vuforia 10.1.4 and Huawei P30 Pro cellphone. Thank you. In Unity, testing app, I can see the 3D model but when I load the app in the phone then camera is off or black.
