Vuforia Object Placement & Manipulation

Created a standard object placement app for practice with Vuforia. This is basically what you would see in apps companies like IKEA have to preview things in your house before you buy.
I made this in Vuforia just to get familiar with the engine but this could be even more easily done in raw AR Foundations.

Is there a way to fix the object and disable plane detection, so if we tap again anywhere on the screen it doesn't relocate or duplicate?
