"See the photo with your eyes, not your camera" this is a really good tip! i think artistry behind photography comes from seeing photos before you pick up the camera, and expertise comes from knowing what gear to use. at the end of the day, i need to prioritize artistry. seriously good stuff Vuh!

It is so obvious yet so often forgotten. Glad I was reminded of it again by this video
@sdotseg3 жыл бұрын
This is the key, as artists especially photographers we must train our eyes to look at the world differently. There are times where I’ll be without my camera and catch “a perfect photo” and always put my fingers in a square and fake a shutter click so I still have that feeling of shooting never thought about it before he said it but it was a great tip!

I don't think I have ever commented but I watch all your videos. Keep mentioning to hit the like button because IT WORKS! I get so caught up in the content that I don't think about it sometimes and as soon as you say it, I smash it! I can't be the only one.... Also, I think when you release your book.... you will probably make someone's annual salary in that one release! Your photography is unapologetically raw and I believe that's why people love it, including myself! Keep up the good work and get that bag!!

Hey Vuhlandes! I'm a big fan. I've wanted to get into environmental portraits. I have a project in mind just for myself nothing crazy. Here is what I wanted to poke your brain about: 1. Do you ever use your 35mm camera to do environmental photos? 2. How many shots do you take before you choose the keeper? (I've been taking so many and it takes me awhile to get the right shot). 3. Color vs. BW? how do you decide? just a feeling? Please keep up your hard work! I always find something to take away from your videos!
