The hidden benefit of filming by yourself is that you can be 100% in control and do everything exactly the way you want - you don't have to compromise your vision in any way or be shy or nervous about what others might think. You can be as creative as you like.

Appreciate you boss. Even in this video there are layers -- learning the patience to shoot at the right time + the color grade + the tripod + the POV shots + the forethought to take a decent mic on your trip so you can have good audio. In isolation, easy to talk about. Hard to do everything at once. When I first found your channel a few years ago I initially liked the fact that your advice was very unpretentious -- "the good gear is the gear that gets you out and shooting" -- but it's obvious that after putting in hours of experimentation you've arrived at a place of quality that way more over-equipped photographers might have initially pay-to-played their way into, and with a degree of honesty and organic style that they lack. Bit buzzed right now so that's more of an essay than I intended, but I hope it's uplifting/helpful so I'm leaving it

Tripod is so important. I got a super light one that I can shove in the side of my camera bag, and I got a massive camera bag that fits all my stuff. The beauty of this is that you can keep everything pre-assembled for quick filming on location.

MAN, the intro absolutely blew me away! Stylistically it really reminds me of some french, new-wave art-house films where the craft becomes less of a movie and more of an *art.* I haven't seen anything that reminded me of that in a while! I *really* like it!

There is one more cool thing, but you will have to carry more stuff with you, it's slider that will add natural movement with parallax effect, which is much better than post-prod movement. Also gimbles like DJI and Zhiyn have tracking feauture, it can be used to create some interesting shots. Again, you will have to spend more time and carry with you more, but final shot can be worth it
