The fact you have an almost twenty minute video about the initial start/checks for the Vulcan shows how much effort went into the making and replication of this top notch aircraft. Thank you again Just Flight for making this beauty for the simulator!

A brilliant tutorial for this awesome aircraft, as always with Just Flight. Thanks!!

Q: Is there a Simbrief profile for this plane? I had a look in the list of Aircraft types & cannot find one? Ideally I want to use the proper profile so that any Simbrief plan is accurate.

This looks great, nice work! It's great to see these old aircraft in the sim where they can fly again. How is it in VR?

With your fidelity level, a Boeing 707 or some classic turboprop like C-130E or F-27 would be an absolute blast. These are things that are lacking in the current addon library, yet are my favorite genre of aircraft 💔

Cool. One small thing though, the indicators are not mechanical, they are known as Magnetic Indicators. They are operated electrically, not mechanically.

Marvolous, thanks for the tutorial. Can wait for the rest. Out of curiosity, what does the "HRS" stand for (on the MFS/HRS switch) and what does it do? (can find and info on the interweb) - many thanks o/

@@billramsey2564 Thanks, right I understand now. MFS is a general-purpose flight simulation software - MFS is not a specific system or component on the Avro Vulcan. The HRS is part of the avionics suite, contributing to navigation by providing accurate heading information to the flight crew of the Vulcan. To clarify, MFS is a simulation software applicable to various aircraft in MSFS, including the Avro Vulcan, while the HRS (Heading Reference System) is a dedicated system on the Avro Vulcan aircraft itself, assisting with navigation and heading determination during real-world operations.

@@FU2Max Not quite. the MFS on the Vulcan is part of its systems. It means Military Flight System - nothing to do with the sim. Made by a company called Smiths. It is all about the avionics and an early example of integration with the flight instruments.

@@billramsey2564 Right, ok., now I understand. Thanks for the clarification, just trying to get my head around it. Sorry to pester you, but would you know why one would be used over the other?.

You spend £30 on the aircraft and you couldn't be bloody bothered to label the switches and things in the cockpit with you hover over them with a mouse or arrow on the Xbox controller....! Yet other people modelling even study level aircraft do!! Come on, get it sorted.
