Fun fact: Tannenberg is not only the site of a large WW1 battle, but for the poles mainly the site of a battle between the germanic teutonic order and the polish-lithuanian army in 1410, which diminished the power of the order and was a pivot point of polish mediaval history.

17th S S is super strong one of my favorite divisons.

They've been one of my go-to Axis divisions since SD44 as well. I've never really liked the big cat divisions, so I mostly played 17th SS, 3rd Falschirm, and 2e DB on the Allied side.

On armored units? Penetration and frontal armor (e.g a T34/85 obr 1944 has 145 main gun AP pen and 110 frontal armor)
