I think that keeping Antwaun as just a collab artist is their best decision yet. Vulf has and always will first and foremost be about the sick groove, and not so much about grandstanding with a selected singer. This way, they have more freedom to keep making incredible stuff like Dean Town or Christmas in L.A., and it makes their few tracks with him special and crazy and valuable. In short, they will probably never have just a single dedicated singer, nor should they, because they're all about the music, and the music can be whatever they want this way. Having your funk and eating it too.

@wizardmix9 жыл бұрын
Zachary Taverner 1). I don't know any outstanding musician who didn't rehearse insanely to get there. They might only practice together a few times a year but I'm sure they all train individually and bring that when they do get together. 2). If they gig a lot together but don't practice much, live shows get you just as tight. 3). That bass player rehearses, no doubt in my mind. Any player who can do flawless Jamerson lines and hold it down as tight as Pino Palladino live is rehearsing. A LOT. -- EDIT He kind of also has a Rocco Prestia feel to his playing.

This last school year, my high school band director put on a March Madness (which later became April Anarchy, then May Mayhem, then June Jocoseness) bracket for what we thought was the best song. Everyone from Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band and Percussion Ensemble submitted their favorite song, then we all would vote for the best song between two songs at a time. My friend Kiera submitted this song and it won by a landslide, and rightfully so. Thank you Kiera for showing us all this masterpiece. She really is a Funky Duck.
