Wow, an actually somewhat doable Dart line with no utter craziness towards the end. Thank you for the video!

Wow, finally someone with a big pocket doing this! Really nice tone and groove man!

Hey, thank you!! Have to admit I struggled a bit with this one because of how Joe Dart plays it - all the big shifts. But I really wanted to emulate that style. Definitely made the reading a bit more of a challenge :)
@isaiahyeong2462 Жыл бұрын
It’s insane how close you got your tone and your playing to the original . But I want to ask, in the original Joe fast descending thing kind of sounds like ghost notes and sounds more muted than what you have here. Is it a post thing or is Joe just a beast in note length?

Amazing cover and tone , but do you have a backing track ?

Amazing, only thing is that the triplet run in that main riff is basically just ghost notes

I did not know about this heavy s...., man!
@samg81135 жыл бұрын
just before that fast triplets run, when i slide up to the D the A string just rings out, and when i try mute it it just cuts off so early, i notice you aren't muting the string with your right hand but it isnt ringing out while you start the fill. I just cant seem to get it
@BennyTheBassman5 жыл бұрын
Hey Sam! I think I was left hand muting it. Ie when I slid up, right before I hit the D, I just lifted my finger off the D string, but still touched it slightly, so the string would stop vibrating. Does that make sense?

hi !do you ever use your third finger on right hand in this video ? can anybody tell me please, thank you

I use Sibelius 7.5, and then export my scores as a video, and edit them and the playing video together in final cut pro x.

I can hear the squeaking sound of your fingers slide and its driving me crazy. I enjoy your playing though. Sorry i could not listen to it all and no offense intended. Cheers 🎸🎶😊
@jacobkleiman74664 жыл бұрын
Nicole Best it happens with roundwounds. You’d hear less of a squeak with flats, but you’re also giving up that bright round wound tone people like. In case you were wondering why you hear this!
