Vulfpeck video guy here with a fun story: My girlfriend came home one day excited, she said she had been listening to Schvitz and asked me if I had heard this song yet. She played it and waited until the second verse with a massive smile on her face. Two years ago, my girlfriend and I watched a cat named Squirtle for a friend of a friend we had never met. After we found out he had fleas, we asked the owner to pay for the medication. We never heard back and Squirtle transformed from a shy cat into the sweetest and most majestic cat I’ve had. We joked for a long time about getting a second cat and naming it Charmander. Well, about 5 months ago we got an orange kitten and named it Charmander. While being immensely adorable, he is the nastiest little boy to his big brother, and in general a bringer of chaos. The boys love each other, and snuggle often, but often Charmander will bully Squirtle out of his cozy places or jump on him to wrestle when he’s relaxing. This song blew our minds with how spot on it was. I will probably make another vulf related video about this because it’s such a funny coincidence, and I have SO many videos of charmander being a nasty boy.
