The part where the monster swirled around Tom is so damn smooth too, just like the transitions! (and it's his mom? this poor guy can't catch a break, but at least it means you make more cool stuff with him, so it's win! well not for Tom but..oh well haha)

Thanks! 💚 Well the snakeish monster is represention of Tom's inner monster (which at the beginning of the story he doesn't want to acknowledge). Then when he sees dead people and turns to face evil responsible for this mess (it's rather symbolic in this video) he sees his mother who died protecting Tom as a child (you can see it in my first Creatures AU Animatic). And then YAY Identity Crisis :D
