I can't imagine playing this game without Grimes' seasonal mods. One I can recommend, and seems to do wonders too, is buying different trucks and switching between them for variation.

another thing (that i did) is to do the game achivements from steam. Those are pretty fun and make you to do various deliveries in different places and also help to learn how to find specific type of deliveries ( like a specific cargo, or a specific route or destination, etc)

@@vutomy you are right, those really help with motivation. Probably that's why i cant wait to play the game after work each day :)) BTW, i am already at 99.2 % explored. now doing my final 2 countries (spain and portugal). France took me a long time to finish 100% :D Another fun thing i like ot do sometimes: if I do deliveries in France, i use the Renault trucks, if in Germany, then Mercedes and so on :D

Two of my biggest wishes for both ATS and ETS 2 is that we could do road side rescue (towing) and deliver to military bases. There plenty of bases in Europe that are served by the freight industry as is the case here in the states. While this idea will have its detractors, personally I feel that it is a missed load opportunity. While there are two tow truck mods for ATS ( i got both last night and let's just I am totally underwhelmed), none of them offer the ability to respond to one of the many crash scenes that are in both ETS2 and ATS. This is something that I think would be fun and break up the day to day routine of just driving from point A to point B.

A bus is real crap compared with a truck .It is euro truck sim not bus sim . Steering wheels are a joke on ets . Had a microsoft side winder then g920 both stopped working and wouldnt work again due to ets or steams boner for thrustmaster equipment . So yes spitefull and biased . There are some real crappy choices by steam and ets 2 .

Maybe there is some other issue than the wheel it self. I have done ETS 2 first with G920 wheel, then with Thrustmaster TX, and now with Simucube 2 Pro, and they all worked just fine.

I first started playing ets2 in 2017 with a new cheap £60 steering wheel . It had a small wheel and accelerator plus brake pedal as it was cheap. There wasn't an option for a shifter. I now have a g920

The rbr map a paid map allready includes classic trucks built in to the map if you play eaa you definitely want to drive scania 113 i Now recommend removing eaa from map combo and create a new profile to play eaa map

I dont think doing jobs without GPS is a good solution, it may annoy you and make you rage quit. Being bored is having no goals while playing the game. So how to fix it? Set goals like Steam achievements, install Trucky and do hardcore deliveries, do their weekly achievements for points, get some goals to go for. And if you have played the game for 10 years, I bet you guys are all working now, have income and a decent PC specs (high to flagship), and having enough knowledge of using mods, then try to mod graphics to photo realistic. It may totally change the immersion while playing. Another tip is investing into Head & Eye tracking, imo its the first thing you should invest, a wheel is not mandatory because Ets2 ffb sucks so bad due to the bad physics. There are free and paid options for head & eye tracking. In my experiences, you dont need Tobii or TrackIR, free options works decently, if you want more smoothness, accuracy and affordable, use Eyeware Webcam edition its available on Steam too.

I just discovered your channel with this video and subscribed. I would like to try some mods to add new maps and cargo types, but I don't know which ones are any good. I've tried mods in other games and they turned out to be low quality and even crashed the game so I'm hesitant to just try random mods that sound good in the description. Another thing that i do is making trucks for someone, get a save with unlimited money and customize trucks like with some specific budget, style etc. Try this by yourself!

It could be interesting if a casual player pull down all truck, trailer and connection (between them) stability in settings. In this way their trucks won't glue to roadsurface anymore and they have to drive more carefully. Next to the idea to use hardware wheel for the game a trackIR could rise the immersion as well. And a shifter if it's not included to the wheel.

Great Video but you forgot one thing I think make Trophies or complete the DLC Trophies Like the trophy from Heavy Cargo oder Vivla france and many more is also a Great Idea if you get bored in ETS2 In This year I will make the Special Transport DLC and Iberia and many other DLC Trophies Complete

I tried to find no limits special transport, but I could only find mod, where you can buy special transport trailers with cargo.

GPS can be turned off for trucks that have it. Keys & Buttons options, Infotainment Display mode.
