the newer parts of Rusmap actually look great (like Saratov/Engels, or the road to Murmansk and up to Kirkenes). Moscow, the parts close to Belarus, and Belarus ifself needs a massive revamp

If you tried Romania Map by Alexandru, you would most certainly had it on 2nd or 3rd place. Realistic map, on scale 1:5, extremely detailed, animated too. Constantly updated and improved. Standalone.

Promods Europe are indeed the best. One small fact about them, I am driving double trailer and when you overtake, at the moment when second trailer is in overtaking moment, AI stops to a halt.

Yes it is possible. There is a ferry connection in the game from Europe to the Middle East but no land connection to either ME or TGS so I would suggest getting the RoExtended and Rusmap maps too so you can drive to them. Getting the Southern Region map also means you can get to Georgia via Rusmap which is useful

Promod Europe is very cool but sometimes this mod will send you in some places that you cannot pass because the size of the cargo or the trailer. And also there's no logic in the type of load that you can pull : like a bulldozer from Ikea for exemple. 🤷‍♂️
