I think many of us like the peacefulness in darkness. Whether in sleep or relaxed solitude. I used to have the great fortune of basking within the moon. Through the window onto my bed. Probably due to where I lived in Northern Hemisphere. Of course it moved. But I got a lot of warmth and peace from it's blue hue. I had to follow it as long as possible on my face. Truly a great experience and it is warm and powerful. Sorry I digressed a bit. Saturn Saturnalia is a favorite. Thank you for 'interpreting' the thoughts within the lyrics of VV. He is a genius, poet 'Person of our times' I wish him well and hope he gets 'accolade' for his work instead of the love metal sexy god thing. Hopefully that will fizzle out.

It seems that the 'sender' and the 'receiver' have got maximum understanding of the 'scenic route through hell'. I like the way VV dives deep into the darkness and brings such beautiful pearls (metaphors) to us. Definitely a good diver. 👍

How did I miss this one? Truly love this song, the moment I heard the tune and it's lyrics, it came to mind my own heart shaped box of sorts and I said "ouch!"... I just think we are all kind of doomed to find ourselves drunk on the wine of love and then just--sitting there like "Huh, well now"... repeating the same soul damning rituals, eating from the never-ending cornicopia of pain and drinking from the same cup of fun, intoxicating, yet liver destroying bitter wines. Do I sound bitter? Meh, maybe I am. I wish I could be more "Salute the Sanguine" subject/character--optimistic. From my dark perch, not so much although I want to. Hope was captured by Pandora. I am just glad "Neon Noir" has so many moods and I can take hold to one at any given moment to kinda feel better about things. Beautiful Soul--thanks again for how you unfurl and unfold Ville's gorgeous lyrics. It is warm solace.

Saturnelia is a celebration that celebrates sun in the lowest point, and saturnine is a person with gloomy temper. Ville is the saturnine at his lowest point in life, wishing to learn to love that moment.😒 😢❤

The Saturnalien has nothing to do with Christianity. It was pagan. Totally other origins.A feast of the Heart maybe..culturally not compareable to Christmas.

Of course not, you are totally right. Saturnalia was a festival in honour of Saturn, a pagan Roman god he was. But it is a very interesting fact - that saturnalia was celebrated on the 25th of December, which later was celebrated as Christmas. The two things falling onto one date - it is extremely exciting. This is why we can make many conclusions out of it. The images give us things to think about.
