As always, Alex, your passion is an asset to all of us - thank you. Boy, do I have some questions... 1) Tyre size and Rim manufacture? 2) Spare tyre holder? Is this new (normally will not fit a larger size rim/tyre). 3) Cushioning under VanEssa kitchen? Never seen this (and would be great help) 4) Cel-Fi Go with Roof Mount? Looks awesome. Make? 5) New lights to low front bumper? Not factory issue? 6) Dash - Is that little white box a throttle controller? Very interested. 7) What was under the drink holder console? ....I think that's enough. Very Impressive, Andrew (clap, clap).

@t f hey mate. I have checked with Trakka (the motor home doctor) who did the instal. Here is what they had to say : Definitely NOT on the standard recovery pin mount. The OE Mount gets chiselled, chopped, ground, drilled and unceremoniously consigned to the bin, so the super dooper toe hooks can get mounted. Hope this helps. Cheers. Alex.

The maxtrax on the bonnet might be an effective stone deflector . We have gone through 5 windscreens in 2 years on our transporter.

Same issue with my 2016 T6 Transporter AT, windscreen damage is unprecedented of any vehicle I’ve ever had….bit of an issue here on Oz roads.

@@JohnnoHH … It’s very strange, but transporters seem to be a rock magnet. Upgraded to a new T6.1 4motion and broke a windscreen within 2 weeks. Also received stone damage from a passing car on the side panel while parked well off a gravel road . There seems to be a new law of gravity involved. Made sure we got an insurance policy with unlimited glass replacement, as there is nothing else we can do about it. Absolutely love everything else about the van otherwise.
