I purchased your repair kit and installed it today. No leaks whatsoever. An absolute 'no brainer'...no need to spend $hundreds$ on a new pump.

Just installed your kit today and I highly recommend it to any 2007 Audi A4 owner that has a leak coming from the vacuum pump. The dealer was wanting to charge me 800 dollars for a new vacuum pump due to the oil leak. The vacuum pump works perfectly well but the problem is that there is no gasket between the vacuum pump and the engine which results in an oil leak over time. Metal on metal with no gasket. Again, thank you for your product which saved me 800 dollars!

Great kit. Simple but effective install on my MK5 GTI (w/ FSI), took 45 minutes total, and solved my oil leak and funky idle hiccup while I was at it.

Fitted today, great kit. I only needed the one smaller and one larger for mine (2008 A4 B7 BPY). A bit confusing as the 3 legged looking gasket "would" fit, but it didn't have one when removed, and this video says "only for the 3.2L". Hoping it fixes my leak. The hardest part is the fiddly removal and reinstall to the car, a good test of patience lining the pump back up with the cam. Let's see! :)

Is a replacement check valve available? Mine failed and is allowing massive amounts of oil to be pulled into the intake.

Does this kit help when the brake pedal is hard and the issue is confirmed vacuum pump failure (pump is hardly making vacuum)?

Does the pump need to be removed from the car? Seems it can be done without removal.?

Hi, Just wondering why the 3.2l doesn't require the o-ring seal on the main shaft that slides into the front of the engine? it has the groove where the o-ring fits.

Audi for some odd reason won’t let me see videos on 2006 A4 3.2 Quattro oil pressure sensors nor how to replace the oil pump on the above mentioned model.

If the outer seal gasket leaks, the vacuum pump fails? I want to know because my car is having issues with the brakes...
@RKXTECHcom7 жыл бұрын
If the outer seal is leaking it will usually not affect the ability of the pump to create vacuum (unless it is a huge leak). If you are having low vacuum problems it could be a failed check valve inside the vacuum pump or at the brake booster. It could also be a leak in the vacuum line. Many times the plastic hard lines will split just slightly at the ends and cause a vacuum leak.

How long does it usually take for this job?
@RKXTECHcom7 жыл бұрын
On a 2.0t in a transverse engine (Jetta , GTI) it takes about 20-30 min. The A4 2.0t takes about 30 - 50 min and the 3.2l A4 takes about 30-40 min.

Ok so i got a problem with my brakes after doing this. Brakes worked fine before fixing the oil leak from the vacuum pump but now my brake pedals gets super hard when driving at low speed under 20mph. Brakes work fine at normal speed but dont know why when baking out of the parking spot or driving in bumper to bumper traffic the brakes fail. Brakes still stop the car but the pedal gets very hard. Please let me know if u can help. No brake light or any other warning lights on the dash. Also its a 2010 audi tt 2.0tfsi.
