Great video, are the 8p audi a3 the same kick by any chance I can’t find much info on them

I believe the A3 8P lock barrel is the same as the MK5 Golf lock barrel, and that requires a drill and a punch to take it apart.

Which way did you put the spring? I did mine a few days back and I hooked the spring behind the 2 points from the bottom piece, but now the spring pushes the barrel too the unlock side all the time

My paddle is very loose and make noise when I close door or drive on bumpy road . Very annoying

Is this the same on a mk5 Golf? Ive been trying to find any information on this but Ive been quite lost really. :(
@mrsinghsgarage10 ай бұрын
I believe they're different, as Mk5 onwards had a different style of lock. I've never taken apart a Mk5 lock barrel though, so I can't confirm. Have you got a picture of your lock?

Would this work on a mk2 tt barrell?
@mrsinghsgarage9 ай бұрын
No, I'm assuming the MK2 TT barrel is similar to a MK5 Golf. They're a bit more complicated and I've not taken one apart before. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful

@@hugoreyes6757 Do you mean it still locks/unlocks with the remote key buttons, or with the key inserted into the door?
