The full restoration of the forgotten 1959 Vw Beetle continues! I found this old car sitting in a garage back in 2019. It had been stashed away since 1994 waiting for a full restoration. Larry and I pulled this Volkswagen Beetle from it's soon to be grave, a crumbled garage and Larry brought it home. Follow along on the journey of the restoration videos as this car will be 100 % restored by Larry...(Edit and ME! haha)

Nothing like the student having hands on with the teacher. The questions asked by student and the mistakes pointed out by the teacher answer a lot of questions that us amateurs out here have. Thanks for bringing us along.

The teacher and his pupil . I like the way he explains how to do it and then steps away and lets you go . I hate having someone hover over me when I’m trying to do something. I love a teacher that puts confidence in his pupil . Love the video’s keep up the great work!

Jason, so good to hear the excitement in your voice when you learn something and then turn around and do it well. As y'all said, you will have the confidence to work on your own and do very well with it. Larry, thank you for sharing the many years of experience and knowledge with Jason. You are awesome. Such a great teacher. Thank you for sharing this my friends. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.

'Did you turn it on?' Now you can see! To be fair if you are used to 'old school' shields then why would you know? If those LCD's get damaged it can be just as cheap to buy a new shield but I am told they are much better for welding than the 'old school' ones so a good thing to have Jason. Hammer and dolly is a good skill to learn. Once you have it it's like riding a bike, you never forget. The replenishing hammer is a good tool to have. I wish I had one when I did bodywork. The principle is similar to an 'English Wheel'. The difference is the English Wheel is putting a smooth curve into new metal. Think of this like lots of little men with tiny hammers getting that curve back in shape. Great video Jason it's so enjoyable to watch. Thank you.👍👍
