You Sir are a bad ass, a steely eyed, garage sale dealing wizard! $1500! Dude, you stole that car... I am in awe. That's a lovely car. A 1984 300zx turbo was right around 18,000 according to the Blue Book, so this replica was not cheap, and it probably is more well put together than most of it's kind... What a fun car to fix up!

@queenofyeay thanks you can tell that it is built better than the reg kits as the frame is rigid, still alot of money for what it is,,,

Great stuff again. I like the MG replica especially because of the fact that it doesn't use a VW front head and axle. Unfortunately I'm too tall/big for these kind of cars.

If i'm not mistaken the mono meter is the temp gauge that was mounted out on the radiator back in the day. Could be wrong. This car reminds me of that car in the indiana jones movie "temple of doom". "Too much to drink dr jones"? lol

One simple way to improve the ride of the replicar is the check the air pressure in the tires. Because of the lack of weight (especially in the front end) I run 17 lbs. in the front tires, and 22 lbs. in the rear tires on mine. b.t.w. you stole that car at that price. (just sayin')
@deltaman39216 жыл бұрын
………….please excuse me for my input here but what in the world would ever possess you to wanna buy an MG replica anyway, they always seemed like a makeshift kind of car to me, made from various parts or from a kit...…… kinda on the cheap side. They just strike me as being a mish mash of a car...…... and those VW taillights are a definite giveaway, my apologies. If you like the look of the MG then you should look into possibly hunting down an authentic one from a collector whose looking to sell, the kind with leather straps across the bonnet, real wire wheels and an authentic walnut dash and painted in british racing green. Granted, it wouldn't be cheap but it would be an investment, more than a replica would ever be and besides think of the fun you'd have tinkering around on that instead of one of these replicas. Just my two cents, is all. Always wishing you good luck on ANYTHING you do in that garage of yours. :) Steve

………..oh, that would be a nice return on your money, that's for sure. You're so talented at working on cars that it could work very lucratively for you. Do you service vehicles for a living, perhaps?

$18,000 for that wannabe roadster kit pile of joke. I wouldnt give 10.00 for it unless i already had it sold for 20.00 bucks
