Awesome work. I have the gti pro light and mini but still kept going back to the gun your using. And doesn't a bus lent it self to planning your way around with the gun. My thoughts anyway. ✌️ Peace.

yeh funny I have the gti light and still use the flg5 more. It just works every time without issues.

Great video , wondering if you have any details in any of your videos about reinstalling the barn doors? About to take on a similar project, just on a LHD 63 and not sure with how to deal with what seems to be a lost backing plate.. Thanks!

Do you mean the side cargo doors? If you have lost the backing plate behind the piller you will need to cut a flap and weld it back on the back. A tricky job thats for sure.

looks like you laid it down pretty nice. was that single stage urethane.

cheers mate yeh went down great, we call it 2 pack in Australia meaning it has a part a and b (hardner) normally 2:1 ratio. Single stage paints are called acrylic here.

@@DemopVWgarage we used to have a acrylic enamel here. I think we still do but it is not as good as even the cheap urethane. ours are like 4 to 1 for urethane plus reducer like 25% reducer. our acrylic enamel was like 8 to 1. plus reducer. They have serious VOC limits that make the reducers like to fisheye if you use too much to thin it down for more smooth spray.
