I wonder if you have an old Subaru exhaust around you could just cut the 2 flanges off where it bolts to the head. Might give you enough clearance if you add them. Or get a couple water jetted out at whatever thickness you need.

This is our backup plan, have some clearance now (minimal) so see how it works out while engine is running.

How do you deal with the lack of catalytic converter? Doesnt the ecu throw a code?

What brand is the header ? Who built it

Wrap that one pipe w/some heatshield material so it's insulated against the xmember.
