Mustie1, you may never read this but I found your channel six days ago and have watched 19 hours of your passion for this work. Our family has driven many Volkswagen's. We, a family of five, even went from the midwest to California one summer in a poptop, and did it again the next year but went to Florida this time right when Elvis died.

Seems common that batteries cause so much rust and corrosion. After so much restoration work on trays, surprised no one uses boat battery cases to protect things in the future.
@SkaterStimm5 жыл бұрын
The problem is water falls down from the top vents in the bus, and gets trapped under the battery / charcoal canister. adding something like a boat battery case would actually add to the problem. (I just cleaned out my battery bay in my bus and did a similar repair)

That was a very "mice" job, mustie1, and "miceley" done! ;-) Sometimes I wonder if there is anything without rodents in your home town/state? They seem to be everywhere!? By the way: Do you think or know if some cats would help to solve the problem around your house? Or at least support your efforts to get rid of the rodents? Anyway: Have a "mice" day! ;-)
