VW Crafter Camper Build Pt1 - Windows, Skylight & Liner

The Campervan-isation has started on our 2019 VW Crafter LWB. We started with the messy bits of cutting holes in the side and roof, plus sticking sound deadening and thermo liner to the sides.
In this video, I've Timelapse the install (as there's lots of other videos for windows, skylight and lining camper vans) and highlighted some of the information for this specific van such as:
Headlining Removal & Lining
Skylight Adapter due to the ridges along the roof

Sound Deadening whole van
Thermo Liner above the cab headlining, sides, roof, doors
Sliding Windows behind the cab
Fixed middle windows
Barn door Windows
Skylight above where the bed is going to go

You planning on bed going across? I did it in my MWB, yet it’s still unusual to see in a LWB. Really like it though, will give your van a very spacious feel.

Try TPS for genuine vw parts cheaper then going to garage.

I’ve been using LLL Parts for genuine VW. Found them hit and miss on prices compared to dealer. But, for the extra few quid VW get everything in 48hrs whereas I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for a £30 vacuum pump from LLL which was only £36 from VW 😄

We want that skylight for our crafter -- but is it really okay to cut that support strut across top? How does that work (as in is it reinforced simply by the skylight?). thanks!
