why not use a heat gun on the stud. Or a good soldering iron... just ideas

Were the metal shavings not bad enough to bother to trace /dismantle? With the oils starvation issue won’t the journals be shot?

I’ll leave that decision to the owner. I’d disassemble it if it were a blank check build. We have not fired it up yet, and I’ll do my due diligence to flush as much debris out as possible. This motor was brought to me just to install. I’m hoping the owner has a conversation with the supplier. Regardless I’ll keep everyone posted on how it goes.

So may no no's on this project when people lower them the extra deep sump goes in the trash. Thin line sum minimum ans the replacement cbp pick up tube with larger tube

@the_Wagen i see that almost ashame they called it a rebuilt motor. Piss poor engine builder and.it looks like some modified at some point afterwards... molested for sure
