Hey Andy, thats another method to repair it. You are right. The Speaker is not coming out very easily, so anyway the Result with the outsidet Speaker, is the same and works pretty nice. Thanks for your way to fix it...

Danke J Bought a 2006 Fox for my daughter and eventually deduced it was the speaker that made the warning noises and indicator clicks. My deutsche ist pathetic, but I can work it from your film Thank you so much from the Land of Madness

Very economic repair. I sourced the speaker from the source identifies by Toemmeh and it arrived very quickly. I had to solder leads and mount the speaker outside of the instrument cluster as the original speaker was glued in the black mount (didn't want to use any force on the PCB). All now ok and working correctly.

How is this speaker (normally) connected to the PCB? My tacho has no wire (?) coming from the contacts as in the video.

Das Plastikteil geht übrigens über dem Radio, ohne dieses raus zu schauben mit 2 bis 3 Clips unten komplett raus.
