Jist had the actuator done on my girlfriends 09 scirocco tdi. A more simple test if no mitivac is to Just suck on the pipe and see if it holds pressure against your tongue. Mad but it works. Darkside developments had the actuator I needed and plenty more. Car feels absolutely great now on the low end !!

Can you check a vacuum actuator and a electronic one, the same way with mityvac? I asume this GTD has electronic actuator? Great videoy i am learning a lot! Greetings

Electric actuator is done by diagnostic tool with bi directional controls

Hi I have a golf gtd 2019 and have a problem of boost power the car use to pull excellent then suddenly had intermittent boost issues when putting my foot down car will have the pulling power sometimes and now that feel of power to pull is gone the car does drive and pull but not like it did before tried it in normal mode and sport mode even when I use to put in dsg manual mode I could feel the pulling power now that has gone too there are no warning lights on the dash what could it be? Any help would be appreciated

Sorry guys for late reply it was just me had the car tuned to stage one and was pulling 220bhp on Dino had all checks done by mechanic everything was fine got rid of it and got a golf r now 😊 diesal are no longer the way they used be

What is that solenoid you test first called? Do you have a part number? I have a 2013 Jetta Sportwagen TDI and it isn't holding a vacuum. The actuator holds fine, though.

we got a 1.6 hdi and we replaced the turbo the turbo pipe yoke and fixed the dpf and for some reason like if we boost it from 1500 rpm up and go over 3000 rpm it wont go into limp mode but as soon as we boost from 2000 or 2500 rpm over 3000 rpm limp mode kicks in but this only happens when hot would anyone know what else could this possibly be

Could be a number of things. Change fuel filter and do a smoke test
