I unerstand blocked fuel pump but camshaft you blocked with key 13 or what? Crankshaft position I see on getriba? Is it same on Audi 80 1.9 tdi?

its much more easy to remove valve cover only 3 bolts and you can lock the camshaft

@@mechanicigor maybe its easyer, but the reason why I dont want to take it off is rubber seal. I'm affraid that it will leak after. And I was thinking not to take it off. If I choose not to take it off, I should take the engine in TDC, lock my fuel pump sprocket and mark my camschaft, right? Or it is more complicated than that? 😀

Hi , Very good video , actually my golf 3 have the injection pump which have two teeth ( clockwise ) difference from camshaft and the crankshaft. However, Camshaft and Crankshaft are aligned perfectly but I cannot insert tool in my injection pump. The problem is that my car has too much advance in injection timing. (advance : 253 instead of 57 in VCDS TDI graph) My question is if I delayed two teeth (counterclockwise), Does this solve the problem that I Have ? I must replace my timing belt soon. I don't know what to say usually if it's miss one teeth the car won't start but two I'm not sure but you can try and if it's not starting than you can return like it was

today the camshaft and crankshaft were perfectly aligned but I cannot insert timing pin on the injection pump (two teeth before I can insert the timing pin) The car start very well but too much advance and the question was just if I realigned perfectly the injection pump (two teeth before) It solve my advance timing problem ? ;-)

@@Gabriel-oq1zg you can try but if the car doesn't want to start then return like it was and try loosen injection pump bolts and try to rotate the pump
