Great idea... without key.. You have to disconnect the battery and wait at least 30 minutes for any capacity to discharge. Otherwise you may kick off the airbags

Hi, I really could use some help! #goingcrazy I have a 2010 VW Sharan. The new seats in the BACK/REAR do not have airbags but two plugs that need to be fixed :). I bought a lot of different resistors but do not know which one is the right one and which color cables in the plug to connect

I’ve removed the airbag seats a couple of times I disconnected the battery then the airbag, then re connected the airbag cables then reconnected the battery, would this method work on the resistor bypass or will I still need to re program

I tried the 4.7ohm resistor and it worked 👌. I made a plug and play bypass plug with it.

i believe if you plug that resister in to a wrong slot,the airbag will pop?if you have a airbag light but not sure if there is an airbag.you just want the light to go off.

This is to emulate an airbag being there, why would you do this if the airbag is still there?! He is showing you how to fix the light if you install aftermarket seats or steering wheel with no airbag 👍
