Question: my golf v sdi comes without the plug under seat for seatbelts. in fact, i followed all seat belts, none have any cables to or from them. No connectors anywhere. Is this factory ? seems weird for a 2006 car to not have this feature fit as a standard.

I have a Volkswagen golf 5 from 2005, 1.9 tdi engine. The seatbelt alarm would go off sometime even with the belt on. I know that the problem comes from the driver's seatbelt. Would it be okay if i disconnected only the wire from the driver's side? Also, it doesn't cause any other problems, right?

When I'm sitting idle, parked in my car, the chime rings continuously, every 7 seconds. I sit in my car a lot between classes and I'm not going to drive myself nuts hearing a beep for 30 min straight. I wear my seat belt without needing a constant beep. Great video, thanks OP
