No start / glow plug light can be caused by a faulty relay 460 under the dashboard or relay 100. The relay 460 supplies power to the ecu.

My 2012 Octavia Mk2, while running, lost its power suddenly with Glow plug indicator blinking with rpm not going beyond 1500. P138800 is the DTC logged. What would be the issue ?

I had same problem. I had changed battery and poles were disconnected for long time. I reset ECU by disconnecting battery and connect + and - on the CAR for 10 secons (use jumber cable). Then connect battery and car start. Only warning light is the airbag warning light. I am not sure how to reset.

I got a 2005 2.5 jetta and is doing the same thing cranking cranking and nothing. I even check the fuel pump and the pump is working fine. But the 458 relay got really hot. I ordered just wait to see to put on and hope it starts. Because the battery die for all those try.

Hi there, i hade similar issue on my vw golf mk4 tdi 2002. How to you said back stop lights stop to works exept top one. I found the issue cheep blub. Try to change your stop blubs with good brand or correct volt amper.

Servus, chcem sa poradit. Mam golf V, 1.6 MPI, rv 2008. Mam nasledovny problem. Pocas jazdy mi nahle padol motor aj pristrojovka. Musel som zastavit, pri pokuse o nastartovanie sa nedialo. Ziadne kontrolky, proste akoby v aute nebola stava. Auto postalo cca 2 minuty, nastartovalo, ale po par km opatovny problem. Auto padne aj na volnobehu, ked ochladne cca po 2 minutach naskoci. Mechanik myslel, ze to bude rele 458, ale neni to ono. Vedel by si poradit? Dik moc

To sa neda . Bud je vadna kabelaz k ecu alebo pristrojovej doske. Alebo je vadne ecu alebo priatrojova doska. Alebo je niekde skrat co vipne ecu alebo pristrojovu desku. Nieco je pravde podobne z elektrikou.

In my case, all the fuses are fine... New battery... It turns out that when I drive the vw polo 9n3 1.2 12v, the airbag, steering, abs light comes on, the 3 lights stay on, but if I turn off the engine they disappear, I can now drive normally, (strange) I managed to get an error code but, only when this happens, because if you do a scanner test there will be no errors, only when the light is on... error P0600 Serial Communication Link , does anyone have information? thanks

I have ecu short to ground, sometimes fuel pump will work sometimes not but fuel pump is fine, power steering comes on with ignition on only also cooling fans come on after ignition on too. Only fault is ecu short to ground and motor flap fault. I unplug the f24 fuse and I can read ecu fine and sometimes will start other times it won’t. Any idea please it’s same car similar problem but changed fuses and 100 relay now looking for ecu grounding location thanks

The instruments do not turn on but the entire board does, when the instruments do not turn on it does not start and very rarely when the instrument is contacted does the instruments light and turn on! Yup my ecu was tampered with and one of my fuses were all in the wrong place!

No matey. Replaced the fuel pump, no effect. Replaced the ECU, no effect. No check engine light? t turns but won't start. The fuel pump isn't getting power from the fuel pump relay. Baffled. Doing my head in!

@@florinpopescu3840 i checked the electricity its not, i put it on PC and it shows that the 4th injector is over 2.5 (leaks alot of diesel not sprays) ill change one injector and if it works ill let u know, btw put your car on diagnostics and check the injectors all need to be under 0.8
