Excellent video as always but this has a problem, there is 5v DC still coming to the LED when door is closed. Please check and confirm.

Just made it. It works, but even when doors are closed six middle led chips dim (its visible in video, but didnt notice before). Any idea why? Yes, I have seen it done. One guy installed full kessy aliexpress kit on his golf mk7, also he said its possible to not install full kessy kit but only handles with lights. At night time looks amazing.

i just removed the rear door panel today and did many many current measurements. Same as in your video, i found the permanent + in the window motor and i saw that the 2nd pin in the lock plug has a signal only when the door it.s closed, but i didn.t came up with the ideea to connect both. thanks a lot for this video. BTW, i have a Tiguan ad1, in tge rear doors has the same pinout as your car. Greetings Erich

dobry den, i na Vasem videu je videt, ze i pri zavrenych dverich sviti prostredni matice diod velmi jemnym svitem; netusite prosim, jestli je to dany samotnym svetylkem, ktery pri detekcnim proudu svetylka nedokaze svetlo vypnout, nebo je to jeste jiny problem? predpokladam, ze jakmile se auto "uspi", tak to zhasne, ne? diky moc

sviti to furt. ked nechces aby to svietilo treba tam ešte zaradiť odpor. sviti to preto že tomu svetlo stačí aj 1V na svietenie. a na tych svorkách bohužial je stále nejaké malé napatie,
