Vw Golf GTD Short Road Test

Just picked up the GTD yesterday with 7 speed DSG... and I gotta say, mega mega impressed. I got the diesel model because I travel for business a lot... the acceleration is incredible!!!!! Sport modes rapid revs is hellish and I honestly feels a lot quicker than the 0-60 time stated. Couldn't be more happy with the car!!!!

Jamie Mckaye get a custom stage 1 remap and you will be blown away. The torque figure will rise to about 350 lb ft and 230 bhp 😎

@@peterbennpan7288 Did you do it? Is it with dsg? Personally I wouldnt put much stress on dsg, eventough they are reliable they are a bit complicated and if anything goes bad, your wallet wont be happy...

you are a good reviewer, chilli and what you need to know you know after watching this. Always had fast gas cars like Audi s6, e39m5, 328i; e39 540i ect, I still have an e39 530d with 252hp and 580nm but can't drive it anymore due to emissions it's just too expensive. Looking for a gtd but not sure, having doubts between a gti and gtd and don't get me wrong on this Sid cause I know you have a gti but a rather lean to the gtd just because you don't see em that often and imo they are more mature than gti's, also over here we can easely tune them stage 2 having 250hp and 500nm, I don't know what to buy seriously it's driving me crazy, I don't wantit to be slow or feel slow.

Nope, stage 1 is completely safe... stage 2 you usually need a turbo back exhaust and an upgraded intake

If you're serious about doing motoring YT vids, get a lapel mic (check-out the ones that DO have them..) ....but thanks anyway ....honestly, not taking the p**s, just trying to improve your vids ;)
