VW Golf MK7 (5G) Climatronic fan profile activation

Thank you! This is exactly what I've been wishing for in my 2019 NAR GTI but seems no one posts about this feature! Wearing contacts I've always preferred a lower fan speed but AUTO would want the fan speed too high, now this can be fixed. Using VCDS I followed your coding procedure in the description, turned car off for a couple minutes, then it showed up. Perfect. Also enabled Air Care and installed the proper FreciousPlus cabin filter.

Happy to help! Would also enable AirCare in my MK7 but sadly my Climatronic unit is too old for it.

I’ve lost these setting on mine and can’t get them back for some reason, plus the car interior is cloth and it used to be leather, any idea how to fix it ?

On my retrofit when you press the setup feature nothing happens. Went from mib1 to mib2.

Most likely your MIB2 is missing proper adaptations.

Hi Mr-Fix, i have a new mib2 unit with the new 8 inch display. However, the climatronic connection does not work. When i press the menu button on the clima the mib2 does not respond. Also the mib2 thinks the climatronic is alwalys off. Have you seen this before? We seem to have tried about every clima option coding in VCDS.

I have relatively low trim level in my MK7 and it was enabled. Maybe it's regional or maybe it's for cars made in certain period of time 🤷‍♂️
