In this video I continue with the dirty rotten Golf R32 ! It's turns out it was cheap for a reason! So the video is a quick one, had some issues over the last month but will do a much better video next time!!

Are you able to tell if the sills are gone if the car is on the ramp, are you able see if from the underneath without taking the side skirt off?

I think the blue with silver wheels are the iconic look for the R32..... Councils are so short minded and short sighted. I just hope you manage to sort something out.. Don't let them grind you down..... I think the colour scheme is topping........

That's gutting news, sorry to hear that. Loving the work on the R32, bar the colour of the wheels (and I love gold wheels) as there's too many colours going on. Blue calipers, silver mirrors, chrome grill, purple wrap then gold wheels.......too much. Silver would've been perfect imho. Mind you what do I know 😂 keep up the good work and best of luck finding new premises

Gday Paul I just watched your 2 VW videos in Sydney Australia and enjoyed them You said the council gave you 9 months to get rid of your auto workshop I have no idea about the legal situation but I have had 2 experiences with a council in New South Wales and they tried to stop me building 2 houses. I investigated the legality of what they said, challenged them and now I have 2 houses no thanks to them I engaged professional private town planners who supported my view that the council was bluffing. One of them had worked for the council and told me that the council worked on 90 percent bluff. Maybe you have investigated this but if not I strongly suggest that you engage your own planner and see where that leads Given the cost and effort to follow council’s instructions spending a few quid on professional advice could be worthwhile

That looks ok dont know about the colour but £250 was a different from the £3000 for a respray. Sad news about the new workshop hopefully youll get sorted 👍🏻

You have probably looked into it Paul, but how about applying for 'Change of use' planning? You may or may not get it in the end, but if your council is anything like here, as long as you keep replying to their letters and keep sticking to your guns, you will buy yourself maybe a few years, not months, as they are so slow at doing this sort of thing. I do know of a place here that won, (eventually) and stayed there and even managed to sell the business on as a going concern, because they simply would not take 'no' for an answer. Not really my taste but looks a million times better for not much money. I put stripes on my kit car a few years ago and that was enough vinyl for me but this new stuff might make me think again. Good vid there Paul. I guess somewhere between 8 and 15 minutes is the sweet spot for these youTube vids but having said that, I did enjoy the last vid you did on the R32 so don't beat yourself up too much about it. planning tossers at it again... in 2012 they made me downsize my garage plans to 1 and a half cars [which was only replacing the old garage anyway], change all the drains, alter the levels, back-fill with concrete at £1k a load, etc, etc. i got finished in 2013, contacted them for sign-off, "we don't need to come out, the rules were scrapped, you can do anything you want, you should of waited another 6 months before starting"... bastards... anyway, nice job...

Sorry about your workshop mate always best to get the planning from them before investing your hard earned money. On the other hand I definitely think black wheels would definitely suit it a lot better, in my opinion.
