Not hating because they are reps but there are so many better lightweight options and to go 19s is kind of questionable when they are already heavy to begin with. Won't be long before a video comes out in the future with him changing wheels but I still respect the build. It's very basic and like someone read a guide on how to upgrade a MK7. Wish there were more distinguishable mods.

Beautiful combo! Top tip for next time: Put a small patch of foil tape over your wheel weights before you ceramic coat your wheels. It helps keeps the weights on, but also if you lose one and need to rebalance you have that little bit of extra wiggle room on the location to mount a new weight. Otherwise, you'll never get another one to stick with that ceramic coating (by design I suppose)!

Hi Cameron, quick question you ordered those wheel with a 45mm offset then added 10mm spaces, so essentially you are running a 35mm offset. Did you not have a little bit of poke on the front wheels? I saw that you rolled the fenders in a latter video but it did not look like you really needed to. The reason I ask is that i purchased a set of these off of some one who had them on an Audi and the rims are 19 x 18.5 with a 35mm off set, I test fit them (still waiting on the correct hub centric rings) and to me it looks like they poke just a little.

They look great but I can't help but think about all the weight and added NVH from the 19's. If I upgrade the wheels on my GTI I'm definitely going smaller for a nicer ride and a faster pickup off the line.

I looked at the rims in your link (628-7KT2), as well as (628-9KT1). The 9KT1 says it's gloss, but in your video your wheels look to be gloss as well. Do you happen to know the difference?? The only thing I can come up with is the 9KT1 might be darker??? Could it be the size???

Very nice wheels. I commented on other videos about my setup. I personally kept the 18" and went with a wider wheel. They are Enkei forged, gunmetal, 18x8 and I just got a set of Pilots 235-40-18. I'm looking forward to see what set of springs you get. I got the H&R and on 18s with that side wall, it will be a pinky between the tire and the fender. I tried GTIs before with coils, and I do daily drive mine and I was like... nah. Anyway, that's my personal opinion, I also like the look on yours.
